Job Title: LPN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Whole Person. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our clients in their homes, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services consistent with the plan of care for Home Health and In-Home Care clients.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and submit it on time.
  • Assure that all services and nursing care are delivered consistently with standard practice of professional nursing.
  • Document all contacts and needed follow-up information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Make recommendations for changes in the plan of care when necessary.
  • Recognize and report any observed changes in client condition or adverse situations that may present a danger to the client.

Requirements:

  • Licensed in the State of Missouri as a Practical Nurse.
  • Ability to travel to clients' homes.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited vocational/practical nursing program.
  • Prefer at least three years of experience providing in-home or long-term care for individuals with disabilities.
  • Satisfactory background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Personal experience with a disability.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

May be exposed to extremes of heat and cold weather conditions. Must be able to travel during various inclement weather conditions. May be exposed to infections and contagious disease. Contact with clients under wide variety of circumstances. May be exposed to client elements. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
