Key Responsibilities:

  • (REQUIRED) Design and uphold a security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and risk appetite.
  • (DESIRED) Establish and maintain secure coding protocols, security checkpoints, and automated security measures that can be integrated into version control and deployment workflows.
  • (REQUIRED) Evaluate existing technology landscapes to identify critical gaps and propose enhancement solutions.
  • (REQUIRED) Engage in Agile SAFe development processes and sprints.
  • (REQUIRED) Ensure security practices adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and policies to mitigate risks and audit discrepancies.
Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a blend of risk management, information security, and IT roles.
Required Skills:

  • (REQUIRED) Profound knowledge of security architecture, network security, and information security principles.
  • (DESIRED) Familiarity with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Minimum Security Requirements (CMSR) and Acceptable Risk Safeguards (ARS).
  • (REQUIRED) Knowledge of FISMA, IS2P, NIST, and similar security standards.
  • (REQUIRED) Experience in a security role within a software development program utilizing a DevSecOps methodology.
  • (REQUIRED) Proficiency with tools such as Splunk, SecurityHub, Snyk, BurpSuite, or equivalent.
  • Experience in automated security testing.
Certifications:

  • (DESIRED) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • (DESIRED) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) is required.
  • (DESIRED) Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is preferred.
Educational Qualifications:

(REQUIRED) A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
