The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner, performing daily maintenance and inspections, and participating as a vital team member contributing towards Austin's success. You will be responsible for attending daily safety meetings, following safety policies and procedures, and working hours adjusted to meet project needs. This includes being able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures, and other duties assigned by management.
To excel in this role, you must possess a strong commitment to jobsite safety and thorough operational knowledge of trucks and related equipment. Experience with off-highway driving in construction sites, DOT pre-employment drug screening, criminal background checks, and maintaining a current State issued Class A /or B driver's license are essential requirements. Additionally, you should be familiar with securing heavy and/or oversized loads and adhering to DOT rules and regulations.
