Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Laborer to join our team at SMS Solutions Inc. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with receiving and processing incoming stock and materials
  • Pack and prepare orders for shipping
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed
  • Prepare parcels for mailing
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat
Requirements
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
Working Conditions

The General Laborer will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
