Grants Development Manager

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago is looking for a skilled Foundation and Government Grant Writer to join our team. As a key member of our Government and Foundation Advancement team, you will serve as a liaison between the agency and its funders, overseeing primary grants development documents and data. Your expertise in research, writing, and management will drive our mission forward.
Responsibilities
As a Foundation and Government Grant Writer, you will maintain grant systems and processes, ensuring document/data integrity. You will execute highly effective grant research and writing procedures, identify potential grant opportunities, and write/edit grant proposals and supporting documents. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external leaders to build trusted relationships and grow CCAC's foundation grants portfolio.
Requirements
This role requires superior writing skills, strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, excellent time management, and experience in fundraising and government grant writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) is also necessary. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but an Associate's degree is minimum. If you possess strong research skills, knowledge of information sources, and can work under pressure, we encourage you to apply.
