Job Summary

Resideo is seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineering Manager to lead and guide a talented team of firmware engineers in the development of cutting-edge connected devices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in firmware design, project management, process, and leadership, with a strong background in embedded systems and firmware development.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of firmware engineers in the development of connected devices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and in scope

Develop and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and productivity

Partner with external design resources as needed to ensure successful product development

Participate in resource planning to ensure projects are staffed appropriately

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or other technical discipline

3-5 years of engineering management or technical leadership experience

10+ years of experience in embedded firmware domain

Excellent project management skills and ability to forge solid relationships and manage across a global business environment

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to identify issues, requirements, and opportunities for improvement

Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change
