The Ladders is seeking a Vice President of Credit Analysis to join our dynamic Liquid Credit team. This pivotal role will report directly to the Managing Director and will be instrumental in executing credit research, offering investment insights, and overseeing portfolio entities within targeted sectors, particularly emphasizing healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth financial evaluations to identify opportunities in senior secured loans and high-yield bonds.
- Perform comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, assessing associated risks.
- Employ financial modeling and quantitative techniques to evaluate borrower performance metrics.
- Regularly monitor market trends and industry shifts to inform investment strategies.
- Stay informed about regulatory updates and their implications for investment decisions.
- Prepare detailed investment reports and present findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to ensure informed investment choices.
- Engage in discussions and meetings to share insights on market conditions and investment tactics.
- Build and maintain relationships with both sell-side and buy-side market participants.
- A Bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Credit Analysis or a related field.
- Proven experience within the healthcare sector is essential.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling and data interpretation.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg platforms.
- Possession of a CFA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization in the United States without sponsorship.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening and background investigations.
- Flexibility to work from various locations and travel as necessary.
The salary range for this position is between USD $200,000 to $260,000, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The Ladders considers various factors, including an individual's qualifications, skills, and market conditions when determining the final salary.
