Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare. This role is responsible for the efficient scheduling and registration of patients in various settings.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage patient registrations, verifying demographic information and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  2. Coordinate with referring clinics and patients to gather additional information and complete necessary paperwork.
  3. Process pre-authorization requests and communicate with payers as needed.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone calls and addressing patient concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
Key Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in admitting, scheduling, or billing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per year, based on location and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
