Medical Care Assistant

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Attendant to join our treatment team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with transporting students for medical attention as assigned.
- Sort and distribute weekly medications to students.
- Chart daily medication administration in our electronic records system.
- File medical records in electronic charts as assigned.
- Restock dormitory medical rooms with necessary supplies.
- Order medical supplies as needed.
- Collect urine drug screens and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
- Conduct medical check-ins with students after travel, as required.
- Send out pharmacy orders as assigned.
- Stock OSHA kits and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain students' confidentiality at all times and report any concerns to your supervisor.
- Stay up-to-date with certifications in CPR, First Aid, and other required trainings.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and outside agencies.
- Accurately complete timecards and ensure timely approval.
- Represent Mount Prospect Academy in a professional and respectful manner.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
