Inpatient Care Specialist

Job Description:

The Inpatient Care Specialist will provide high-quality, patient-centered care within the hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong inpatient skill set and be able to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

**Responsibilities:**
  • Admit patients and perform physical exams
  • Order tests and diagnose conditions
  • Perform hospital rounds and plan for discharge


**Requirements:**
  • Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Minimum of 18 months acute experience as an advanced practice provider in hospitalist or similar position
  • Active state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration
