Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Med Surg department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current Illinois RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in Med Surg or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
