We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer for Facilities to support our operations.

Position Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer for Facilities

Location: Aloha, OR

Employment Type: Contract

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on a diverse range of building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and execute necessary maintenance tasks.
  • Assignments may vary in nature, requiring some judgment in addressing non-standard issues.
  • Work is generally performed within defined parameters with general instructions provided.
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial mechanical technician roles is required.
  • This position will involve supporting mechanical systems in microprocessor manufacturing facilities.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual preventative maintenance, along with addressing any operational and maintenance challenges that arise.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical systems including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and compressors.
  • Experience in general industrial mechanical tasks, including instrument calibrations.
  • Able to manage multiple projects of varying complexity effectively.

Administrative Competencies:

  • Responsibilities include signing no-impact permits, logging into systems, coordinating tool ownership, locating connection points, performing equipment lock-out/tag-out procedures, and completing job close-out documentation.
