Southern Coast Audiology is seeking an Audiologist to join their team at their Lumberton, NC location.
About the RoleThe Audiologist will provide comprehensive audiological services, including hearing evaluations, vestibular assessments, and cochlear implant care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiology and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Vestibular Evaluation: Conduct neurodiagnostic vestibular evaluations to diagnose and treat balance disorders.
- Adult Diagnostics and Care: Provide hearing evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for adults.
- Pediatric Services: Offer auditory evoked potentials, DPOAEs, and other pediatric hearing services.
- Auditory Processing Evaluations: Conduct assessments to identify processing deficits and develop strategies for improvement.
- Tinnitus Evaluation and Care: Diagnose and treat tinnitus in patients.
- VA Community Care Program Provider: Participate in the VA community care program to provide audiological services to veterans.
- Cochlear Implant Services: Evaluate candidates for cochlear implants and provide post-implant care.
- Education: Master's degree or Doctorate in Audiology.
- Licensure: Audiologist License in North Carolina (or ability to obtain license).
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Work Environment: Ability to work independently and prioritize a full schedule of patients.
