About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team at MainStreet Family Care. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our urgent care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including colds, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
  • Perform minor procedures, such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, suturing, and splinting.
  • Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management, review x-rays, and provide general dermatology, eye, and EKG interpretations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
  • MSN or higher education required.
  • DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred.
