Job Overview

This position is for part-time general production associates at PRINT NW. The role offers a flexible schedule with compensation starting at $17.00 per hour. Part-time employees are entitled to 4 hours of Paid Holiday.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the production of quality items according to specifications and quality benchmarks.

Engage in hands-on assembly and production tasks as required.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Hand folding printed materials
  • Counting and bundling printed items
  • Applying Velcro strips to printed materials
  • Hand inserting or collating printed materials
  • Occasionally operating various production machinery, including shrink wrappers, L-Bars, and Collators.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Must have reliable transportation and demonstrate punctuality.

Strong verbal, written, and listening skills are essential; ability to adhere to safety, security, and quality protocols while reading and comprehending SOPs and instructions from supervisors.

Ability to identify issues and promptly inform management regarding production, safety, or injury matters.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to fulfill departmental objectives.

Utilize self-management skills to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work tasks.

Possess interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with coworkers and respond constructively to guidance and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires the ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

While performing job duties, employees are regularly required to stand or sit for extended periods, walk, reach with hands and arms, lift, twist, and crouch as needed. Frequent communication is required, and employees must regularly use their hands to handle, assemble, collate, count, or bundle printed materials, as well as lift, carry, push, and pull boxes of printed items.

This position is situated in an industrial manufacturing setting with noise levels ranging from 55-75 dB. Hearing protection is provided.
