The Senior Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in overseeing daily functions within the Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) departments. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee fixed asset management and general ledger account reconciliations, while collaborating with A/P and A/R teams to ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
  • Perform reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process, maintaining the month-end checklist and supporting A/P and A/R tasks.
  • Collect and prepare documentation for both internal and external audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications; experience with Sage 100 is advantageous.
  • Strong awareness and adherence to internal controls.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, conduct independent research, and solve problems using analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation: Competitive salary range based on experience.
