Daily Responsibilities:
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, developing innovative solutions for a variety of projects.

Your work will include creating multimodal transportation infrastructure, from urban roadway reconstructions to scenic trail projects that enhance the natural landscape.

Projects may involve transportation analyses, safety studies, and improvements. You will utilize software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation for project production.

Your expertise will guide staff and clients in developing concept plans and construction documents, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

You will collaborate with clients and colleagues from various disciplines, guiding projects from concept through to construction.

Your role will also involve stakeholder engagement, feasibility studies, and the preparation of innovative project documentation.

Work Schedule:
This full-time position typically requires 40 hours per week.

Currently managed from our headquarters, this role will allow for remote work flexibility. Once our new office opens, a hybrid schedule will be implemented.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or transportation
- Professional engineering license (PE)
- 10+ years of experience in roadway or highway construction documentation
- 2+ years in a project or design management capacity
- Experience overseeing junior staff
- Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering principles
- Familiarity with transportation and local agency permit documentation
- Proficiency in multimodal design
- Knowledge of national and local transportation engineering standards
- Interest in sustainable and active transportation design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience in reviewing construction plans and providing feedback
- Ability to develop construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications
