Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Chief for its Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our division and contributing to the development of innovative and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology division, overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the department's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure the highest level of expertise and professionalism.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular and interventional radiology, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and departmental performance.
Requirements
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
  • Medical degree: M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program and an accredited fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology.
  • Currently holds the academic rank of Associate Professor or higher.
  • Licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania prior to the start of employment.
