Restaurant General Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and drive business growth. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and control inventory, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing staff, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing sales.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
