Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting. As a Traveling Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
