As a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy Department, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating, planning, implementing, and assessing patient care requirements.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with established protocols.
- Coordinating and delegating care to team members based on their qualifications and demonstrated skills.
- Enhancing professional effectiveness through ongoing education and development.
- Contributing to the formulation and maintenance of hospital policies, procedures, objectives, and quality improvement initiatives, including safety and infection control measures.
- Carrying out additional duties as required.
Endoscopy Registered Nurse
Full-Time Position
Candidates for the Registered Nurse position in the Endoscopy Department must fulfill the following qualifications:
Education
- Must possess a degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of RN experience in Critical Care is required or successful completion of a critical care training program.
- Experience in Endoscopy is preferred.
- Mandatory: State of Oregon nursing license.
- Required upon hire: Basic Life Support certification.
- Mandatory: ACLS certification at the time of hire or transfer.
