Automotive Cybersecurity Specialist

TUV SUD America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Auburn Hills, USA. As a key member of our automotive cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for conducting advisory services, assessments, and audits to ensure the security of our customers' vehicles.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting cybersecurity assessments and audits for automotive systems
• Providing technical advice and training to customers on automotive cybersecurity
• Managing projects for national and international customers, including certification of cybersecurity processes and products
• Collaborating with colleagues to improve internal processes, procedures, and technical fundamentals
• Developing and establishing methods, processes, and new products in automotive cybersecurity
• Participating in national and international standards committees to shape future standards and regulations
• Occasionally conducting training and education measures

Requirements:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or physics
• Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, preferably with an automotive background
• Relevant experience in automotive cybersecurity, standardization, and regulation topics
• Deep knowledge of security methods, processes, automotive bus systems, cryptographic methods, and protocols
• Excellent team and communication skills, high level of initiative and enthusiasm
