Job Summary:

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinical Expert will possess an advanced level of pediatric rehabilitation clinical experience. This individual will demonstrate thorough knowledge of managed care, utilization management, healthcare continuum planning, and performance improvement concepts. The ideal candidate will be capable of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care for the Rehab population related to clinical, finance, or resource utilization components. This expert will advocate for the patient/family by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a case management plan to ensure quality patient outcomes and customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner. Additionally, this individual will participate/facilitate in the development and outcome analysis of clinical pathways as a member of the interdisciplinary PI team. The Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinical Expert will partner with external referral sources and payers. This role requires a commitment to a patient and family-centered model of care.

Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for the Rehab population
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a case management plan
- Participate/facilitate in the development and outcome analysis of clinical pathways
- Partner with external referral sources and payers

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree required
- Masters degree in specific discipline preferred
- Current CA discipline-specific licensure
- Current CPR training
- Current CA Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications:

- Three years clinical experience with two years pediatric rehabilitation experience in related discipline
- Bilingual English/other language preferred
- Computer Literacy
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

Pay Scale Information:

$80,288.00-$144,518.00
