HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital, a 237-bed acute care hospital serving Charlotte County, has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN to join our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications
  • This role coordinates and delivers high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with departmental requirements and consistent with state and specialty standards.

The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and assist with artificial airway placement.

Additionally, the successful candidate will:

  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery and aerosol medication delivery.
  • Monitor patient responses and notify providers as necessary.
  • Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess advanced cardiac life support certification within 60 months of employment, basic cardiac life support certification within 30 days of employment, and PALS pediatric advanced life support certification within 60 months of employment.
