What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with talented engineers to design and develop our backend services, data processing pipelines, and interfaces
  • Develop user-facing features on the backend to optimize performance and reliability
  • Elevate Mochi's backend systems, including patient record database, web hook traffic management, third-party integrations, and distributed systems architecture
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support, and participate in code reviews
  • Contribute to strategic product direction, shaping its future as we expand and grow

You Will Thrive Here If:

  • You hold a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • You have 5+ years of experience in backend development, demonstrating expertise in backend technologies and best practices
  • You are proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript & Node.js, cloud services (AWS), and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
  • You have a proven track record of building products and features from scratch to deployment
  • You excel in fixing issues and improving performance and maintainability in a codebase at scale
