This position requires a qualified ER RN for a travel assignment. The role typically involves 13-week contracts with 12-hour evening shifts, including every other weekend. Unit Details:
The Emergency Department consists of a fast track area with 7 beds and a total of 40 beds, including trauma bays and seclusion rooms. The unit typically sees an average of 120 patients per day, with a focus on stabilizing and transferring patients as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of ER experience in a comparable setting
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR

Responsibilities:
The role includes essential nursing duties such as Foley catheter management, phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, and patient transport. Nurses are expected to work every other weekend and may be required to work on holidays based on unit needs.

Nurses are expected to maintain professionalism, including covering any visible tattoos. The department is equipped with advanced monitoring technology, and the nursing staff collaborates closely with physicians and mid-level providers.
