Position Overview

This is a full-time role offering competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package.


Key Responsibilities


As a Registered Dietician, you will be responsible for conducting initial, change of condition, annual, and quarterly nutritional evaluations, as well as managing the MDS and Care Plan in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

You will engage with patients and their families to gather detailed dietary histories.


Your role includes reviewing the dietary needs of each patient upon admission and collaborating with the attending physician to develop tailored diet plans.

Support the Food Service Director in the execution and clarification of departmental policies and procedures.


Review and modify menus in line with the Diet Manual.


Authorize and oversee all therapeutic diets not included in the standard cycle menu, ensuring staff are well-informed on the correct service of these diets.

Conduct regular visits to patients to assess meal satisfaction and preferences.


Oversee the appropriate ordering of supplements, snacks, and meals, incorporating insights from dietary, nursing, and therapy teams.


Maintain documentation for high-risk patients on a monthly basis, focusing on significant weight changes, tube feeding, dialysis, and wound care.


Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with completion of an internship. AP4 or an equivalent qualification is required.

Successful completion of the Registration Examination for Dieticians and current registration ID through the ADA Commission on Dietician Registration is essential.

A valid state license or certification is mandatory.

Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required.
