The Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at the University of Minnesota is seeking a qualified individual to teach courses in speech-language pathology and audiology. This is a part-time, temporary position that may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • M.A. degree from an accredited institution in Speech-Pathology and certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Doctor of Audiology and certification in Audiology (CCC-A)
  • At least two years of professional experience beyond the Clinical Fellowship Year in a hospital or school setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College-level teaching experience and supervision of students in a clinical setting
  • Previous experience providing educational experiences to health care providers
  • Knowledge and experience providing clinical care to pediatric and adult patients
About the Department

The Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences offers internationally recognized programs in speech-language hearing sciences, speech-language pathology, and audiology. The department hosts a Bilingual Multicultural Emphasis Certificate Program for graduate students in speech-language pathology and audiology. Faculty research and teaching are strongly supported at the unit and collegiate levels.
