Position Summary
As a key representative of our organization, you will be responsible for assisting with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on various facilities, including buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment, with a primary focus on electrical maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to various locations and procure necessary parts/items as needed.
- Independently perform general maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the repair and upkeep of equipment such as pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and both electrical and mechanical devices, as well as handle plumbing repairs.
- Support furniture relocation and minor HVAC maintenance under supervision.
- Assist in the installation and adjustment of building systems.
- Inspect electrical distribution systems and manage life safety/fire systems.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a professional appearance.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols.
- Plan and execute work that requires a solid understanding of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Technical training or relevant experience in electrical and HVAC systems.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools, materials, and supplies.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
Education and Experience
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with 3-10 years of experience in commercial facility maintenance. Candidates must have their own basic hand tools and a battery drill.
Work Environment
The role involves working in various environments, including exposure to dust, odors, and noise, and requires the use of safety glasses.
Physical Requirements
This position demands physical activities such as handling tools and small items, lifting objects over 40 lbs, and performing various physical tasks.
