Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our Family Medicine and Priority Care team. This role is essential in enhancing patient experiences and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8 AM - 6:30 PM (Wednesdays Off)

Key Responsibilities:

This position plays a vital role in supporting our healthcare teams and ensuring that they have the necessary resources to provide exceptional patient care. Your contributions will significantly impact the patient experience during their visits.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Performing general patient care in accordance with established clinic protocols.
  • Welcoming and preparing patients for their appointments by completing intake procedures, including obtaining vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
  • Collecting and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Administering prescribed medications and vaccines to patients.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of medical instruments and exam rooms.
  • Addressing non-routine issues and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Completing safety checklists and quality control measures as required.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a state-approved EMT training program.
  • Possession of a valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license or equivalent certification.
  • Active status on the Medication Aide Registry within the designated timeframe.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
