Job Summary

The Press Helper plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our presses. This position requires close collaboration with the Press Operator to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and prepare materials, including film, cylinders, and inks, for press operation.
  • Read and interpret measurements to ensure accurate machine set-ups.
  • Return materials to their designated locations after each job.
  • Clean printing plates throughout the shift.
  • Assist the Press Operator with set-ups, operations, and repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, with opportunities for overtime.
Work Schedule
  • Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am (rotating schedule)
  • Day Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm (rotating schedule)

This is a temporary-to-hire position with opportunities for advancement.

Compensation

$19.18 per hour, with increases every six months, up to $22.41 per hour.
