Job Summary:

EvergreenHealth seeks a skilled CT Technologist to perform complex CT scan examinations and procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scan examinations and procedures, injecting contrast material under the direct supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Set, adjust, and control CT scanner equipment to apply ionizing radiation for CT procedures.
  • Analyze patient body size, physical condition, and age to accurately perform CT examinations.
  • Communicate with patients, explaining procedures and maintaining their confidence.
  • Handle incoming and interoffice telephone calls and inquiries.
  • Obtain lab work and patient information from Cerner, schedule CT Scan exams, and update patient status in the RIS.
Requirements:
  • ARRT certification or registry eligibility, with registry completion within 45 days of employment.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
  • Training specific to CT scanner operation and performance.
  • Current WA State Radiologic Technologist licensure.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in a radiology setting.
