Job Description

At Walgreens, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy team, assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as providing excellent customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy services, including clinical services and patient education programs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
