Job Summary:

Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patients to facilitate seamless care transitions and maximize healthcare outcomes. Develop and implement comprehensive education programs, evaluate new technologies, and lead research projects under the IRB. Direct the planning and coordination of activities, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness. Provide direction to staff, review performance, and ensure disciplinary actions are taken as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Enhance department performance through performance improvement and resource utilization.
  • Develop operational systems for seamless patient care transitions.
  • Facilitate comprehensive education programs for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide leadership throughout the department.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and services.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care.
  • Lead research projects under the IRB.
  • Direct the planning and coordination of activities.
  • Provide direction to staff and review performance.

Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of recent acute care, manager-level experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree - REQUIRED.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse, or Advance Nurse Practitioner.
