Join Our Team as a Quantum Algorithms Researcher

Fujitsu Research of America (FRA) is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as a Research Intern in the field of quantum algorithms and applications.

About the Position

This internship is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in quantum computing and contribute to the development of novel quantum algorithms.

Responsibilities
  • Develop novel quantum algorithms to publish in reputable scientific journals, conferences, and/or workshops.
  • Demonstrate the application of quantum algorithms in various fields, including finance, machine learning, optimization, quantum chemistry, and quantum simulations.
  • Collaborate with FRA researchers to contribute to the quantum computing stack of Fujitsu.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong publication record demonstrated by accepted or published research papers in high-quality conferences and/or journals.
  • At least two years of research experience working in quantum algorithms and applications.
