We are seeking a seasoned Activities Director to lead our senior care community in providing engaging and stimulating activities for our residents.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in a senior care setting, with proven leadership and organizational skills. A CTRS certification is a plus. The Activities Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a program of activities that promote physical, emotional, educational, spiritual, and leisure stimulation for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a monthly calendar of activities, including parties and events
  • Plan and direct daily activity programming, both within and outside the building
  • Conduct needs assessments for new residents and develop individualized activity plans
  • Supervise and train volunteers to assist with activity programs
  • Maintain inventory of activity equipment and supplies
  • Manage the Activity department budget and ensure reports align with community goals

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, and 4+ years related experience
  • CTR certification a plus
  • Proven experience in a senior care community with leadership and organizational skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with older adults

Benefits:

Competitive salary ($65,000 - $75,000 per year) and benefits package offered by Provision Living.
