We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment. This role involves managing a significant volume of patients and ensuring high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Volume: Handle an annual emergency department volume of approximately 14,000 cases.
- Facility Capacity: Work within a facility that has 70 hospital beds available for patient care.
- Physician Coverage: Benefit from comprehensive 24-hour physician coverage to support patient needs.
- Shift Structure: Engage in 12-hour shifts to maintain a balanced work schedule.
- Board Certification: Candidates must be ABEM/ABEOM certified or possess experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice with emergency room exposure.
- Certification Timeline: Must be board eligible or board certified within 7 years of completing residency training.
- Advanced Training: A history of taking Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is required. If not board certified in Emergency Medicine, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is mandatory.
- Residency Participation: Moonlighting opportunities for residents are not available.
