Job Description

Position Overview: Compeer Financial is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Agricultural Business Intern. This internship will provide hands-on experience in the credit and underwriting field, focusing on financial analysis, loan servicing, and other credit services for Compeer clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the credit delivery process, including financial analysis and underwriting loan requests.
  • Work closely with the Credit team leader and other team members to exchange information and clarify or verify data.
  • Provide exceptional client service, presenting a professional image of Compeer Financial.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of farm production methods and products, as well as general knowledge of farm business management and finance.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in agricultural business, agricultural economics, or business administration, with at least two years completed.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven client service skills and effective team skills.
  • Knowledge of farm production methods and products, and a general understanding of farm business management and finance.
  • Ability to use various computer applications, including business and financial software.
