About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assessment Specialist to join our team at MRG Exams Careers. As a Veterans Healthcare Professional, you will play a critical role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran.
  • Electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of medical assessments.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient use of computer systems and software.
