Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Applied Research Associates. As an All-Source Intelligence Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing expert-level intelligence analysis and support to our defense and military customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct all-source intelligence analysis to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain national security issues and developments.
- Provide expert-level support to Defense, Service, and military customers in accordance with defense intelligence priorities, requirements, and guidance.
- Contribute to Defense Intelligence Enterprise deliverables, including foundational assessments, warning reports, technical briefings, and other analytic documents.
- Collaborate with the Intelligence Community, Defense Department, national labs, and academia to address foreign adversary and threat issues.
- Provide guidance to less experienced staff, review the work of others, and authoritatively contribute to multi-functional analytic teams.
- Represent Defense Intelligence Enterprise analytic units as directed and understand and articulate official government analytic positions during customer engagements.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree and tangible intelligence analysis experience.
- 5+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, including employing multi-INT databases to develop analytic assessments and briefings.
- Working familiarity with established Intelligence Community directives, standards, and tradecraft documents.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers, as well as excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to communicate complex analyses at a level comprehensible to diverse military audiences and senior-level government representatives.
- Ability to clearly express in writing technical analysis results and program characterizations.
- Familiarity with intelligence cycle processes and outcomes and ability to enhance intelligence cycle functioning with tailored all-source support.
- Experience providing all-source intelligence support to military planning, operations, and exercise efforts.
- Understanding of the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, DIA, and Service intelligence production centers.
- Experience responding to and effectively answering requests for intelligence/information (RFI).
- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree and/or specialized Intelligence Community-related training(s).
- Military or defense-related experience and working familiarity with strategies, policies, and plans that enable defense against CBRN threats and prevent the proliferation of WMD.
- Experience effectively devising, utilizing, and communicating methodological approaches to complex problem sets.
- Knowledge of state nuclear, biological, and/or chemical (NBC) programs, strategic weapons developments, and WMD-related proliferation and procurement.
- Proficiency with network analysis tools (Analyst Notebook, Palantir, etc.) and methodologies.
