Job Summary

Focal Point Fixtures is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker Supervisor to lead our team of craftsmen in creating high-quality custom casework for various businesses. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, strong woodworking skills, and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 4-5 employees
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications
  • Notify receiving/inventory of supply needs
  • Cut, trim, file, and laminate/PVC work as needed
  • Receive direction from supervisor and notify them of work needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Prioritize HOT jobs
  • Follow safety rules and report issues to supervisor
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
  • Fill in other areas as needed

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly
  • Work with exact tolerances
  • Work well in a team and independently
  • Willingness to be challenged
  • Pays attention to small details
  • Follows instruction well
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Knowledge of shop tools and woodworking
  • Familiar with hand tools; drills, routers, staplers, saws, etc.
  • Prior experience necessary
