As a Veterinarian - In-Home Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets, ensuring a peaceful and dignified experience for both the animal and its family.
- Guide families in making informed end-of-life decisions for their pets, offering expert advice and emotional support throughout the process.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local veterinary clinics, serving as an extension of their excellent care and providing seamless support to pet families.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree from an accredited institution.
- At least one year of experience as a practicing veterinarian, with a strong focus on in-home care and end-of-life support.
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to client locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with pet families and colleagues.
