Phlebotomist Specialist

Harrison County Community Hospital District is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Phlebotomist PRN to join our laboratory team. As a key contributor to our healthcare services, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of blood specimen collection and preparation.

**Estimated Salary:** $38,000 - $48,000 per year

**Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure accurate order entry and patient identification.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture and capillary collections.
• Prepare specimens for testing, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and colleagues.

**Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
• ASCP Phlebotomy certification required.
• Two years of experience in phlebotomy or a related field.
