Role Overview: As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing nursing practices grounded in the latest evidence-based research and adhering to established standards of care to guarantee safe and effective patient care.
  • Maintaining clear and ongoing communication with patients, fellow nursing professionals, and other healthcare team members regarding patient conditions, care provided, and treatment strategies.
  • Administering medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies to ensure the highest safety standards in medication delivery.
  • Conducting real-time electronic documentation of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and evaluations.
  • Providing education to patients and their families to enhance health, wellness, and effective disease management.
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for the safe discharge of patients, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Possessing a current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey is essential.
  • Holding BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
  • Having a minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience or being an active participant in the Nurse Residency Program is required.
  • A BSN in progress or a commitment to obtain one within three years of hire is expected.
  • Demonstrating a capacity for quick learning and adaptability to evolving patient needs, a strong sense of accountability, a commitment to teamwork, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care are essential attributes.
