About the Role

As a Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer at GPAC, you will be responsible for evaluating loan applications and documentation to ensure credit worthiness. You will also be responsible for improving loan applications and documentation by informing applicants of additional requirements and rejecting loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants.

This commercial loan officer position involves approving loans by issuing checks or forwarding applications to the loan committee and helping customers by answering their questions. The ideal candidate will have a strong credit experience and business development mindset, with leadership aspirations and qualities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate loan applications and documentation to ensure credit worthiness
  • Improve loan applications and documentation by informing applicants of additional requirements
  • Reject loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants
  • Approve loans by issuing checks or forwarding applications to the loan committee
  • Help customers by answering their questions
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Loan Officer
  • Leadership aspirations and qualities
  • Possess strong credit experience and business development mindset

  • Ability to expand loans, client relationships, and cross-sell bank products
  • Familiarity with sales, commercial loan processing, and closing processes
