Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Participate in the development and implementation of curriculum that meets the educational needs of children with IEPs.
  • Instructional Delivery: Deliver personalized instruction to each child, encouraging interactive learning and promoting social, emotional, physical, and educational growth.
  • IEP Development: Design and establish Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each child.
  • Assessment and Progress Reporting: Regularly assess children's accomplishments and provide feedback and progress reporting as required.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Early Intervention team and school districts to ensure children's educational needs are being met.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree in a relevant field may be desirable.
  • Licensure: Active Educator Licensure from the Ohio Department of Education as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist or in Early Childhood Education with a supplemental endorsement in Prekindergarten is required.
  • Certifications: Current first aid, communicable diseases, and child abuse recognition certifications are required or must be acquired within 120 days of hire.
