Infectious Diseases Physician

We are seeking an exceptional Infectious Diseases Physician to join our team at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. As a key member of our Division of Infectious Diseases, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive patient care, engaging in high-quality research, and offering innovative medical education to medical students, post-doctoral trainees, and professional colleagues.
Responsibilities:- Provide infectious diseases consultative services in the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and on our dedicated solid organ transplant service.
- Maintain an ambulatory longitudinal care clinic and participate in the Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) program.
- Participate in the training of Infectious Diseases fellows, housestaff, medical students, and ancillary staff.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical research and quality improvement.
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Diseases.
- Eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
