Job Summary:
This part-time adjunct position reports to the Dean of the School of Business and Applied Technology. The successful candidate will conduct college-level courses in the Drafting and Design Technology Associate of Applied Science degree, responsible for preparing and delivering face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online lectures and labs, creating a learning environment, and assessing student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate grade and attendance records
- Maintain individual student progress data and ensure it is part of the student's permanent record
- Adhere to all laws pertaining to disclosure of student records
- Participate in professional development activities and stay current in technological or pedagogical advances that promote student learning
Requirements:
Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
