Job Description

Lifespan Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neuro Critical Care department.

About the Job

This role requires a dedicated and compassionate nurse who can provide exceptional care to patients with complex neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or eligibility under the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
  • Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients safely, with physical stamina for extended periods of walking and standing.
