Deliver essential health services to address the needs of students and staff under the direct oversight of the school health coordinator or registered nurse (RN).
Required Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas LVN license issued by the Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners
Current certifications in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED)
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of fundamental first aid principles
Proficient in keyboarding and maintaining records
Ability to utilize software for database management and word processing
Capability to compose routine reports and correspondence
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Experience:
Minimum of one year in a health-related role; experience with school-aged children is preferred
